Owned with MJB Ranch, Weatherford TX
Every once in a while in this great Breed of Angus Cattle a female emerges from the population and declares predominance. We feel that G A R Retail Product 1712 has done just that. She has 3 progeny turned into AHIR that ratio 102 for both weaning and yearling while having 50 progeny in both the Evans Farms and Gardiner herds scanned that ratio 110 for IMF and 105 for RE. She herself had an individual IMF of 9.09 that ratioed 135 and a 12.3 inch RE at 770lbs that ratio 128, now that’s predominance! She was select by Evans Farms and Willow Creek Angus out of the 2006 G A R Production Sale were she was considered by Mark Gardiner as one of the most praised donors in the offering. 1712 proved to be a hot ticket in the 2009 sale at Evans Farms where she was the $150,000 selection of MJB Ranch while two daughters sold in that same event for $45,000 to the partnership of Express and BoBo and $25,000 to the partnership of John Morgan and Hillside Angus. Her 5 sons by Predestined were the leadoff bulls in the 2007 G A R Fall Bull Sale and a daughter was the $25,000 selection of Oak Hill Farms in the 2008 Evans Farms Production Sale. Her dominance continued in 2010 with a daughter selling as the lead off donor in the G A R sale for $40,000 to Southern Cattle Co. with yet another daughter, who led off the Evans Farms sale, commanding $21,000 from Monarch Farm. Keep an eye on this female, her legend is just beginning.
